An analysis is carried out on the potential deployment of energy communities in the selected municipalities of Alfarb and Algemesí, based on the following general criteria:
- High-resolution solar resource analysis in the municipality, based on digital surface models and annual accumulated solar radiation on rooftops.
- Georeferenced modelling of the building stock, combining cadastral and socio-economic data.
- Analysis of energy demand and consumption of residential and public buildings in the municipalities included in the project.
This analysis of the urban area will be partial and will provide the following information for each building:
- Usable area for PV panel installation (m²)
- Installable PV panel capacity (kW)
- Annual electricity generation (kWh/year)
- Avoidable emissions (kgCO₂/year)
