BUSINESS SUPPORT

The MEDinCHAMBERS project is part of the Interreg NEXT MED program and aims to promote the sustainable transformation of the textile, clothing, leather, and footwear sector in the Mediterranean region.

Through this call, micro-enterprises and SMEs from Spain, Italy, Greece, Tunisia, Egypt, and Turkey are invited to participate in a transition process toward more sustainable and circular production models.

The initiative foresees the selection of up to three companies per country, which will receive a specialized technical assessment free of charge. This analysis will include tools such as Life Cycle Analysis and Material Flow Analysis applied to one of their main products.

In addition to the environmental diagnosis, the program offers individualized support to assist companies in preparing improvement plans aimed at reducing their ecological impact. Likewise, international visibility of participating entities will be promoted through their participation in sectoral events and the opportunity to attend a transnational bootcamp to be held in Barcelona in September 2026.

In certain cases, and depending on the regional partner’s budget availability, financial support may be considered to facilitate participation in international events.

Participation requirements

Interested companies must:

  • Demonstrate SME status.
  • Show direct activity in the production of textile or footwear products.
  • Submit the application before March 31, 2026.
  • Attach documentation proving their SME status.
  • Include a brief company profile in PDF format.

Submission of applications: euprojects@camaraitaliana.com

During evaluation, priority will be given to companies with significant production volumes or specialized in specific products (e.g., jeans or t-shirts). The company’s capacity to implement improvements and the existence of previous environmental certifications will also be considered.

After the call closes and the selection process scheduled for April, selected companies will work with the project’s technical team to collect operational data. All information provided will be treated confidentially and used exclusively for environmental improvement purposes within the project.
