NATIONAL REPORT SPAIN: ENERGY COMMUNITIES AND VET FOR A SUSTAINABLE TRANSITION
This national report presents an analysis of the current landscape of energy communities in Spain, developed within the Erasmus+ project “Cooperation is Key: Unlocking the Power of Community Energy”. It explores the legal framework, stakeholder engagement, vocational education and training (VET) systems, and the main challenges and opportunities for the development of community energy initiatives.
The report also identifies existing skills gaps and highlights the need for more integrated training approaches to support the energy transition, promoting sustainable, inclusive and participatory energy models aligned with European priorities.
