The City Council of Carcaixent, in collaboration with the Energy Area of the Consorci de la Ribera, intends to launch a Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI/CPI) under the project:
“SMART BUILDING CPI 2020 – Public Procurement of Innovation for achieving smart buildings in the Ribera region”, funded by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI).
For this reason, a market consultation workshop will be organized as a preparatory action for the tender, aiming to facilitate open dialogue and information flow between the administration and potential suppliers.
The workshop is aimed at designers of innovative solutions interested in participating in the tender for the preparation of the building rehabilitation project, transforming it into a Nearly Zero-Energy Building (NZEB / ECCN).
The City Council will publish a tender to develop a building rehabilitation project, including project management, with the goal of:
- Reducing energy demand
- Decarbonizing the building
- Increasing energy efficiency
Among other specifications, the project aims to:
- Optimize thermal insulation
- Maximize natural lighting and ventilation
- Incorporate a local renewable energy generation system, supplying both the building and electric mobility devices in the city
For this purpose, a control system will be necessary to cover the building’s needs and manage sustainable mobility.
It is noteworthy that the building is architecturally protected, so the external aesthetic impact must be minimal. Likewise, the reduction of usable interior space should be minimal to optimize space usage.
Participants will have the opportunity to inform about the current state of technology and present their innovative solutions, upon prior registration for the workshop.
