The objective of the SMART BUILDING CPI 2021 project is to use the Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) procedure to stimulate the creation of innovative clusters that improve the competitiveness of companies and local authorities in the Ribera del Xúquer region, while reducing the emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
To achieve this, the project aims to promote the development of innovative technology and solutions for their subsequent mass deployment in the market in the field of so-called smart buildings or Smart Buildings.
The procurement mechanism based on PPI aims to transform buildings that will act as a basic unit or energy hub to achieve an energy-sustainable territory, integrating high levels of energy efficiency and the majority consumption of energy from renewable sources of local production. In this contract, the public building located at Figures Street 3 in the municipality of Algemesí has been selected.
The purpose of the contract to be tendered within the framework of the SMART BUILDING CPI 2021 project is the supply, installation, and commissioning of a RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATION SYSTEM for the municipal building located at Figures Street No. 3 in Algemesí, which allows the generation of renewable electrical energy taking into account the existing limitations of the building and its location in the Historic Center.
