The company selection support service of the VERDEinMED project was developed with the aim of promoting the transition towards a sustainable and circular economy in the textile and fashion sector, involving industry, civil society, and public administrations.
The service was primarily targeted at SMEs, startups, and social enterprises, offering them specialized technical advice and tailored information to advance sustainability and circularity.
Areas of work
During its implementation, several key areas were addressed:
- Sustainable innovation of products and processes.
- Applicable certifications and regulations.
- Circular economy and climate change.
- Energy management and optimization of manufacturing systems.
- Environmental compliance.
- Development of sustainable business models.
Methodology and activities
The support was structured through:
- Individual diagnostic meetings.
- Informative sessions on regulations and eco-design.
- Identification of improvement opportunities.
- Technical analysis and synthesis of information.
- Preparation and presentation of results reports.
The service was carried out by a team of experts and offered free of charge to companies in the textile and fashion sector in the Valencian Community.
Execution period
The service was implemented between September 15, 2025 and December 31, 2025.
