SISMA
Objective of the SISMA Project
The objective of the SISMA project is to develop innovative financing schemes to enable the energy renovation of public buildings.
The project will seek the most suitable mechanisms to mobilize private resources through Energy Service Companies (ESEs) to finance the comprehensive renovation of public buildings where the investment payback period is very long.
Furthermore, the project will provide support to local authorities to overcome legal and administrative barriers and will contribute to complying with the European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (2010/31/EU).
Finally, within the framework of the SISMA project, a training session will be organized for municipal technicians to introduce the innovative financing mechanisms for carrying out energy renovations of public buildings.
